What’s raphed?

This weblog is set up and operated by me, Raph de Rooij. I’m known as the Web Guidelines Guy, since It all started with a presentation I gave in January 2004. And I’ve been heavily involved with the development ever since.
I work as a consultant for an ICT organization that’s part of the Netherlands’ government.

Raphed

The word raphed (pronunciation: ‘raft) was first used by a colleague during a meeting of program managers, where a newly developed website was discussed. When he asked “is the website already raphed?”, anyone present knew exactly what he meant by that. To some of my colleagues, raphing soon became synonymous for evaluating a website against a quality model. So when I was looking for a suitable domain name, raphed.com was an obvious choice.
